Are you more Miss Trunchbull or Albus Dumbledore?

It’s coming up to World Book Day, so let’s find out.

Since the magical dawn of time, school children have been turning teachers into parodies; much like our favourite children’s book authors.

Somehow, the nuanced human experience of a teacher slides by unnoticed in most classrooms. Still, there’s unique delight in being caricatured by petite wordsmiths. (10 points to Gryffindor if you tell us what nicknames students have given you.)

The ‘good-cop-bad-cop’ binary is one that pigeonholes most teachers under the imaginative gaze of a child… Kids will think you’re mean or you’re nice; there’s no in-between. So what category do you think your class has you boxed int0? Not sure?

Picture yourself in the following scenarios, add 1 every time you side with our half-moon-spectacled friend and minus 1 every time Trunchbull is your spirit animal.

How’d you fare? If you scored above 0, Merlin’s beard you must be Albus himself. If you scored below 0… well, at least you’ve got a new costume idea!
