Union blows whistle on “secret” curriculum rewrites

The union for post-primary school teachers says the curriculum rewrites are being done in secret, without sector consultation.

the extent to which the rewrite has occurred so quickly with no discussion with us&comma; an English association is problematic&period; The rhetoric around &&num;8216&semi;expert curriculum design&&num;8217&semi; is strange because all the expert curriculum designers I know&&num;8230&semi; aren&&num;8217&semi;t involved at all&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;<&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;It&&num;8217&semi;s worrying that as an association we&&num;8217&semi;ve had no communication&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span data-contrast&equals;"auto">Abercrombie said he was &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;deeply disappointed and concerned” that Tinning found out about the rewrite via media contact&period;
